Organize Communications moves occupies another floor of the villa in the Riefstahlstraße. A total of 18 employees call for an extension of office space. There is also client news: ICEX expands its cooperation with Organize to include its PR activities in Germany as well as editorial management of the tri-annual magazine “Vinos Vinos”. The year marks the first time that the agency organizes a “Meet-the-Press” event for Messe Düsseldorf as part of the ProWein trade show. The event receives a great response and generates lots of excitement.
In April, the European congress Jeunes Restaurateurs d’Europe takes place in Dresden. Organize arranges this almost three-day meeting of Jeunes Restaurateurs. There is a German restaurant at Vinexpo in Bordeaux (with Jeune Restaurateur Martin Scharff) for the first time in six years, commissioned by the DWI and also organized by the agency.
Cooking shows in Munich and Cologne with Cornelia Poletto and wine seminars with Hendrik Thoma, Dr. Jens Priewe and Claudia Stern, parts of the EU project “European Food Art”, are very well received. The seminars are commissioned by the Chianti Classico, Mozzarella di Bufala Campana and Parmigiano Reggiano consortiums.
Organize manages to get substantial coverage in the specialized as well as the general media for its new customer Caviar House & Prunier, a French manufacturer of caviar, Balik salmon and fish delicatessen. A Jeunes Restaurateurs cookbook, published in the following year, is initiated in collaboration with Gräfe & Unzer publishing house.
